We are committed to placing our puppies in loving, responsible homes. Please review our process and policies below:

 

Puppy Application

 

All prospective families must complete a puppy application prior to placing a deposit.

This helps us learn more about you, your family, and what you are looking for in a puppy (including color and gender preferences).

 

 

Pricing & Deposits

 

  • Puppies are priced at $1,200 for Limited Registration. If requesting Full Registration puppies are priced at $1,500. 

A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy. This amount is applied toward the final price.

  • Deposits are accepted via Venmo; local families may also use cash.

  • The remaining balance of $1,000 is due in CASH ONLY for Limited and $1,300 is due in CASH ONLY for Full Registration at puppy pick-up.

  • We offer a $100 discount for all First Responders (EMS, Fire, Police) and Military (active or retired) with valid ID.

 

Deposit & Selection Process

 

At Green Roof Farm Labradors, we strive to make the reservation and selection process clear, fair, and enjoyable for every family.

 

 Deposits begin at 3 weeks of age

We begin accepting deposits when the litter reaches 3 weeks old.

 

 First-come, first-served reservation system

Puppies are reserved in the order deposits are received and according to the buyer’s preferred color and gender.

 

 Deposit contract provided

Once a deposit is received, families will receive a formal deposit contract outlining all terms and expectations.

 

 Puppy selections made on go-home day

Families will select their puppy on the scheduled go-home day. This allows each family to choose a puppy whose personality, temperament, and characteristics best match their needs and lifestyle.

 

 Application list process

If a deposit is not received when requested, we will continue moving down our approved application list to the next waiting family.

Visitation & Updates

 

 To protect the health and safety of our puppies—and to prevent exposure to illnesses such as parvovirus—  we do not allow outside visitors into our home until the scheduled puppy pick-up day.

As stated previously, puppy selections will take place on the scheduled go-home day. Throughout the weeks leading up to that day, we will continue to provide families with photos and videos as the puppies grow. These updates help families observe developing personalities, traits, and characteristics in the puppies they may be interested in. We are always happy to assist with the selection process or help place a puppy with your family based on the qualities you are looking for, as we become very familiar with each puppy’s unique temperament and behavior.

Registration & Policies

 

  • Puppies are sold with Limited AKC Registration and are intended for Pet Homes Only. 
    If you are requesting full AKC registration for your puppy, we require a valid reason for this request. Full registration is intended for owners who plan to show, breed, or participate in AKC events with their dog. This ensures that our puppies are placed in homes that understand and respect the responsibilities associated with full registration. Please provide a clear explanation of your intended use when submitting your request. There is an additional fee for Full Registration of $300.     ​

  • We do not sell littermates together due to risks of Littermate Syndrome.

  • We do not ship puppies; pick-up must be done in person.
