We are committed to placing our puppies in loving, responsible homes. Please review our process and policies below:
Puppy Application:
All prospective families must complete a puppy application prior to placing a deposit.
This helps us learn more about you, your family, and what you are looking for in a puppy (including color and gender preferences).

Deposit & Puppy Selection Process:
​To reserve a position on our puppy list, a non-refundable $200 deposit is required. This deposit secures your place in line for puppy selection and shows a serious commitment to moving forward with one of our puppies. Deposits start at 3 weeks of age.
How Puppy deposits Works:
Puppy selection is done on a first-come, first-served basis, determined strictly by the order in which deposits are received.
Deposits are made by color and gender, not by individual puppy, as puppies are still developing at the time deposits occur.
A Deposit contract will be provided:
Once a deposit is received, families will receive a formal deposit contract outlining all terms and expectations.
Example:

1st pick Yellow Female - 1st deposit received for that color and gender

2nd pick Yellow Female- 2nd deposit received for that color and gender

3rd pick Yellow Female-3rd deposit received for that color and gender
-
1st pick Black Male -1st deposit received for that color and gender
…and so on.
Selection Process:
At Green Roof Farm Labradors, we strive to make the selection process clear, fair, and enjoyable for every family.
Once your deposit has been received and your position is reached, you will choose your puppy selection on go-home day. We will reach out to each family to set up a date and time 2 weeks prior to pick-up. Families will ONLY meet the puppies that are specific to their color/gender deposit.
Families will select their puppy on their scheduled go-home day at 8 weeks of age. This allows each family to choose a puppy whose personality, temperament, and characteristics best match their needs and lifestyle.

Visitation & Updates:
To protect the health and safety of our puppies—and to prevent exposure to illnesses such as parvovirus— we do not allow outside visitors into our home until the scheduled puppy pick-up day.
As stated previously, puppy selections will take place on the scheduled go-home day. Throughout the weeks leading up to that day, we will continue to provide families with photos and videos as the puppies grow. These updates help families observe developing personalities, traits, and characteristics in the puppies they may be interested in. We are always happy to assist with the selection process or help place a puppy with your family based on the qualities you are looking for, as we become very familiar with each puppy’s unique temperament and behavior.
AKC Registration:
All puppies are sold with AKC Limited Registration (pet only).

Full AKC Registration may be offered for an additional fee of $300, at the breeder’s discretion. Approval for full registration is based on:

The individual puppy

The purpose for which full registration is requested

The overall goals and integrity of our breeding program
**Full registration is not guaranteed and must be discussed and approved prior to placement.**
Important Notes:
**CASH ONLY at puppy pick-up.**

We offer a $100 discount for all First Responders (EMS, Fire, Police) and Military (active or retired) with valid ID. This will be taken off the final price of your puppy.

Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

A deposit holds your pick position, not a specific puppy.

If a buyer chooses not to move forward when their selection position is reached, the deposit is forfeited and the next family in line will be offered the opportunity.

We do not sell littermates together due to risks of Littermate Syndrome.

We do not ship puppies; pick-up must be done in person.
